No two are the same.

Every Q-SMEC instantiation is matured against one set of operating requirements, so the work begins wherever you do.

NIKET does not start from scratch. We take today’s state-of-the-art tools and products, together with the specifications you define, and refine them with custom advanced materials so your work runs sharper, faster and easier.

A Funder brings the use case, or takes one NIKET has already identified and carries it forward on their own specifications. Both routes begin at Pre-Feasibility.

What a Funder holds at the end is a materials formulation, matured against the requirements they set. Each stage closes with a report, so every decision to continue is made on work already in your hands.

How a formulation matures.

Pre-Feasibility is where it begins. Task 1 is where it becomes yours: a quantum-optimized formulation, engineered across the Q‑SMEC 22‑Layer Technology Stack to the specifications you set.

Pre-Feasibility

You choose the use case, and together we define the target specifications it must meet. It is then screened through the Q‑SMEC 22‑Layer Technology Stack and closes with a report of findings and recommendations.

Feasibility

Feasibility confirms what can be matured, returning a report and recommendations from the Q‑SMEC 22‑Layer Technology Stack to carry into Task 1.

Duration3–6 weeks
Investment$7,500
ReadinessNotional TRL/MRL 3/4

NRE Task 1Optional

Formulation development across the full Q‑SMEC 22‑Layer Technology Stack. New intellectual property generated, captured and protected.

Required before Tasks 2 and 3.

Duration3–6 weeks
Investment$25,000
ReadinessTargets TRL/MRL 5
Milestone 1$25K3–6 weeks

NRE Task 2Optional

You carry the Task 1 formulation into the simulated environment you designate, under your testing protocol. NIKET remains on hand to adjust the formulation as testing calls for it.

Duration3–6 weeks
Investment$25,000
ReadinessTargets TRL/MRL 6–7
Milestone 1$25K3–6 weeks

NRE Task 3Optional

You qualify the formulation in your operational environment for form, fit and function, with NIKET on hand for any adjustments along the way.

Duration3–6 weeks
Investment$25,000
ReadinessTargets TRL/MRL 8–9
Milestone 1$25K3–6 weeks

Each milestone closes with a report and your decision to continue or stop.

Kept informed throughout

You are kept up to date as the work runs. A report is provided at the close of each completed agreement. Each is a continue-or-stop decision the Funder makes, and Funder staff are welcome to review NIKET’s internally generated documents along the way.

Termination is two weeks

At the conclusion of any milestone review, written notice of two weeks ends the engagement. That notice acts as a stop-work order, and NIKET carries out reasonable project closeout and nothing further.

What the Funder holds.

Shared with the Funder

On completing Task 1, the Funder jointly owns the Q‑SMEC materials formulation and holds a right of first refusal on a joint venture or exclusive license in its fields of use and territories.

Stays with NIKET

The Q‑SMEC 22‑Layer Technology Stack itself remains NIKET Background IP throughout. It does not transfer, and entering the program does not license it.

Engagement begins at Pre-Feasibility, against specifications you define.
